 | Server Problems |  | | EDIT: Server controls now work, as does my ftp, so I have started uploading maps/mods etc etc. Will take me a day or two to get it all back on, and then I will start up/open the server
Right, having some issues with the server atm guys.. finally got it back online after 2-3 days downtime, however a re-install was required.. so currently the server is online with no mods/maps.
I was going to start adding them back today, but my ftp no longer works, so I've fired off an email to support, hopefully they will fix it soon and I can get everything back running...

Hey guys, here we go again with the next tow maps that made it through the public map nominations. Others might follow soon. kkz_texture made by Koukouz A lot of people regard this as one of their favorite non-official maps, so a lot of you guys did choose to vote for it and make it official. Koukouz was nice enough to make an improved version of his maps, for more details about it please check the corresponding thread in the map nominations forum. Anyway, about the map... our beloved projumper zhady once wrote "this map was like a so called turning point in my KZ-career. When I was about to quit, this map brought back hope first of all to me" - I guess that pretty much explains how inspiring the map is for some of you guys. Enough of the words, let's wait and see who's the first to submit an amazing record on this beast (Click here to view the forum nomination) kzm_fineblock made by SilverNinja I remember this being a very close decision when this map was submitted to the XJ mapcheck team. The XJ mapadmins did understand that this map could mean fun for some of the better jumpers and/or hard map lovers, anyway it had a pretty "unspectacular" design and was a small map. Also the map was submitted in a period of time when a lot of maps with low to decent quality were submitted, therefore I guess you can say that this map did go under in the high amount of bad maps being submitted - and because the XJ mapadmins didn't want to make a mistake by accepting too many of these maps, they denied the map. However, a lot of people liked this map, but the mapper refused to change the project (which is his good right, if he likes the map the way it is)... anyway, without changes no resubmission or second check was possible under the old system, therefore we had the unfortunate situation that this map had to stay unaccepted. However, under the new system, the flexible map nomination forum was able to fix the problem, as a lot of guys nominated this map. About the map itself: most of you guys probably already know the map, it's a hard/extreme map as well which has a lot of tricky jumps to master. Sort of aware of the cause also, so I'll let you know if/when It's fixed. It's not causing any problems while your actually playing on the server, so don't worry about any times not being saved or anything.
now, time for work, yay | |  | Downtime.. |  | | Sorry for the recenty downtime guys, our host had some issues with the webserver, but everything has been sorted out now.
Unfortunately any records attained on the server over the last few days will not of been saved, as all access to the server/sql was halted.
